Amazon.com Review This outdoor cook stove enables grilling aficionados to slap their meat on the barbecue while simmering their basting sauce and accompanying pot of spicy beans right nearby. The stove also travels well and can be towed along to a campsite to make hearty ham-and-egg breakfast sandwiches in the morning or a tailgate party to serve up turkey chili. Equipped with a 31-1/2-inch cooking surface and two 14-inch-diameter gas burners, this outdoor stove can accommodate two stockpots up to 60 quarts in size. Two brass valves control the heat on each burner individually and adjust precisely to the appropriate gas flow for either a low flame for simmering or the highest temperature for frying. The stove's heavy-duty welded steel frame is hefty enough to support oversized pots or cast iron cookware and stands 13 inches tall on its own. The included extension legs raise the cook surface up 25 inches from the ground, which is a fairly comfortable level for people of average height. Extension legs simply slide on without requiring bolts or screws so they can be added and removed as necessary. The stove comes with a regulator kit, valve assembly kit, and a 30-foot-long pressure hose, plus full instructions on how to safely connect between the LP gas cylinder and the cooker. A whole host of other safety precautions and detailed instructions on proper placement are also outlined in the manual to ensure an enjoyable outdoor cooking experience. This cooker is covered by a 1-year warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

| Customer Reviews: Bayou classic double burner December 31, 2009 David Capolarello 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Only used twice, but works fine. Maybe unstable when using the leg extensions. I would not use with 2 full 15 gal pots that vendor says is doable. Brings my almost full 10gal pot to a boil in about 20 mins.
Very Unstable If Used With Extension Legs November 5, 2009 BlueMan (SF/BayArea) Don't use the extension legs or your cooking will end up on the groud. Happened to me. Other than that, the stove works the way as advertised.
Bayou Double Burner June 24, 2008 Horace Alyn Bixby (El Cajon, CA United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This double burner cooker is functional enough and good value. I use it for homebrewing. The burners produce a strong flame due to high pressure propane. The build of the unit could have been sturdier-It is a bit delicate.
My other double burner is a Camp Chef which costs almost twice as much, but has low pressure burners which are great for cooking. They are not as suited as the Bayou burnes for homebrewing.
Bayou DB250 April 13, 2008 Stephan C. Russell Purchased DB250 - shipping was perfect. Hooked it up and could only get one burner to operate correctly. I believe the regulator was bad. I called manufacturer - they said to work with Amazon. So I returned the burner to Amazon because I was in the 30 day window. Amazon was great to work with.
