Somewhat ok August 24, 2010 Mike The pressure isn't strong enough to be able to fry, going to return it. When i put the gas on max, it goes out. Guessing its the 10 psi. Otherwise its awesome, would recommend for slow cooking big serving meals. But if you want to cook fast and fry, this is not the way to go.
Sturdy, Heats up Quick August 11, 2010 Richard Coryell Jr. (G-town, CA USA) I use this for my home brew and I use a very large pot. Its sturdy and the burner works great. It heats up really fast. It cut my brew time in half.
classic bayou July 28, 2010 David M. Fuller (Marietta Ga) this gas cooker well exceeded my expectations. with the larger burner you can actually cook 2 times faster than with a smaller burner. I highly recommended this product.
versatile and stabile July 24, 2010 Michael Smetzer (Huron, SD) FOUR LEGGED design for safety!! I would NEVER have a large, heavy pot of hot oil, water or chili on three legs. I have fried turkeys, done seafood boils and made large pots of chili and gumbo without any fear of a tipover. I use the griddle plate from my grill between the burner and pot to distribute the heat and prevent scorching when doing chili and such. I also cut two pieces of Duro-roc (cement-like underlayment) to place on the windward sides of the burner to prevent the flame from being blown out when on a low setting. Did I mention stabile, four legged design?
Great for Homebrew July 7, 2010 J. Hilldrup (Virginia) I bought this burner in order to move my brewing outdoors. It also enables me to do a full boil for 5 or 10 gallon batches. I use an old keg with the top cut off as my brew kettle and it easily supports the full weight of a filled 15.5 gallon keg. I have had no problems getting a nice flame with the adjustable regulator and air slot. This product works great, I hope to try a turkey this fall!
